We are two friends (Herman Mathee & Ruan Reynders) with a passion for cars and racing.

It all started a few years ago when I saw a very neat little Ford Escort MK II parked outside a shop. I’m a avid believer of stealing with your eyes and that is just what I did, approached the car and started looking at it, the owner, then a complete stranger to me approached, we started having a conversation and a friendship were born.

After that we have spend countless hours working on this car to get it were it is today, in short it went through a transformation stage of starting of as the normal run around for the family to a dream of a young man. The Dream: “I want a racing car, not the normal fast street car, but a decent racing car that still had that classic feel to it.” – Ruan

Thru this little car we have become very good friends and started competing in the WBMK (Witzenberg Motor Klub) Gymkhana Championship.

Our initial thought were to race the Escort in this championship, this was short lived, at our first event on the 31 January 2009 we were so excited, but yet bored for waiting to long for our next run, just there and then we decided to take my little Datsun 1400 (Rust Bucket) and start racing with it. This decision allows us to learn the track better before we unleash the Escort.

Happy racing and respect the environment, without it we will not be able to compete.
